Advantage multi for heartworm?? --->
Submitted by michael43 on April 21, 2010 - 12:38amI have been using frontline plus and heartguard on my 2 EBs and was gonna switch to ADV-multi cause its "supposed" to do all of what these 2 do in the 1. Where I live we have mosquitos for sure so am concerned since this is a topical and not ingested that it may not work as well. Any1 have any opinions?? And I didn't see anywhere that ADV-multi does anything for ticks where frontline "supposedly" does. Am I better off doing what I have been with frontline+heartguard or can I safely switch cause its about half the price and less total meds to the dogs system. thanks for reading

We have loads of mosquitos here and also lots of ticks and fleas
vet steers me toward the combo of Heartguard and topical Frontline plus. The other you mentioned doesn't do the job as well here with ticks and fleas.
