12 week old English with nasal congestion

I am new to the forum and a new English B Dog owner. Love it so far.
My question is what to do about nasal congestion?
Winston, the puppy of course, has had some nasal mucus production the past few days and seems to be trying to cough it up and clear his airway. the other day he vomitted some mucus and I don't want to wait until next week for the Vet appointment.
What can I do in the meantime to clear some of this or remedy it at home?

I agree...should go to your vet today
and of course I favor a private practice office versus the ones inside a Petco or PetSmart store! Pup may need chest x-ray to check for pneumonia. Also ask doc about using a humidifier or vaporizer in the pup's bedroom (not directly on the dog).
I would take him to the Vet today
He may have an upper respiratory infection. I would not wait on Vet care for a puppy.
