This is Axl, our youngest Bulldog. He’s 1 year old.

Axl came to us from a successful and established breeder who also happens to be good friends of ours. At the time, we actually weren’t planning on having another Bulldog, but on a weekend visit to Nicola and Richard’s, that plan went out the window! They had a litter of 4-week-old pups, and as soon as I saw Axl, I fell in love.

I knew he was meant to be mine, and after a little bit of persuasion, my partner agreed. We were so excited and couldn’t wait to go back over in 6 weeks to bring him home.

Watching Axl grow from a cute 4-week-old puppy into what he is today has been nothing short of amazing. He is the most docile, friendliest, and affectionate dog ever. He is so good with my 5-year-old son who is autistic – they are great friends!

The thing I love most about Axl is when he sees me, he gets all excited and does this funny walk toward me… then just plonks down and rolls over to be tickled. I just love that!

For such a long time I dreamed of having the perfect Bulldog. I knew what I wanted him to be like and how his personality would be. And today, I’ve got that and more in Axl. He makes us proud every day!
