it's so cheap - $28.99 for 35 pounds and we've been paying $49 for 30 pounds. I just hope they don't suddenly stop carrying it, guess I'll keep a bag in reserve just in case.

I wouldn't feed the lamb if I saw them slaughtered. Same goes for beef, chicken, bison, rabbit, and all the other formulas we've tried. Wish I kept a list of what brands I've fed my dogs and their reactions to each.

I'm too much of a softie for cute, sweet little lambs. And I don't want to piss off Mary. She and Miss Muffet might gang up on me.

CA Natural herring and potato he just was not thrilled about but with Prairie Salmon he runs to the bowl. The kibble is small - like the size of a pea which worried me at first but it has not bothered him. They also make Instinct which is their grain free food.

fish & potato, grain free $27.00 + tax so much cheaper than what I have been buying. With 3 dogs, it gets $$. I hope it is good stuff. I am going to give it a try..........

wow, it's almost as expensive as Wellness, which also sold for $55 for a 30 lb. bag when I first bot it. It's now up to $61.95 plus tax. Doesn't even last a full month.

a store owner who only sells healthy dog foods recently recommended this brand to me. She also used to feed Wellness to her dogs but the price hikes got to be too much.
I think she said Prairie used to go by the name Eagle Pack or something like that.

a great company. I like to shop there because some of their employees are unionized and they treat their employees so well, and compensate them much better than other mass retailers.
If you call or write the manufacturer they may send you coupons too. I do this with all the brands I purchase the most and this reduces my shopping bills immensely.

I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

Booger looks very cool, doing two toof out!
We feed it...
We feed the Venison version, it is the only thing that has kept Tessie's skin good and tail relatively reasonable.
