Slobberfest Recap - Tons of Bullies and Lots of Pictures! =)

Hi all,

I just wanted to share a quick re-cap of our recent Slobberfest event held this past Sunday, Sept 10 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA. The event was co-hosted by the Bulldog Club of Greater Seattle and Cascade Bulldog Rescue/Rehome, Inc. It was also an official AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day event.

The turnout was amazing! We had at least 150 people and 75+ Bulldogs in attendance! We had perfect weather and an awesome location and everyone had a great time. We raised about $1000, with proceeds to be split between BCGS and Cascade. We couldn't have asked for a better time!

This year's event featured a BBQ dinner, microchip clinic, vendors, fun & games, and Bulldog breed & rescue info tables. I'd like to thank Dr. Lamb of River Road Animal Hospital for volunteering his time free of charge to implant microchips for us, and I also extend a special thanks to my co-chairperson for the event, Cindy Mozingo. Thanks also to Paul Admintchita, Tammy Thresher, Charlotte Bales, Ellen Whitney, Vicki Dodge, Stew & Amy Ridgeway, Faruk, Linda Gasselsdorfer, Don New, Tegan Locker, and Rob & Tina Brown for your involvement. It really meant a lot to have so many club members and friends step up to help! Finally, thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to our HUGE success!!!

I've been given permission to share a couple photo albums from BCGS members, Tammy Thresher and Kathie O'Hanlon. Thanks, ladies! Hope you all enjoy the pictures!
