RIP Sabel Jean King....
Submitted by tray92 on April 21, 2010 - 12:38amOur baby girl passed over to the rainbow bridge last night. Very peacefully. We were up til about 1 am with the neighbors, she was running, playing, eating... and at 3am... She was gone. We had got a pretty optomistic report from the cardiologist on friday. Trying some new drug therapy... but knew that anyday could be her last. Just didnt expect it last night. She had a good day yesterday. She went for a ride, got a bath (which she liked), got to see lots of ppl and receive much love from the Laundromutt staff. Got to play last night with her favorite boy (our neighbor Justin) receive many many butt scratches...
And she went peacefully. There was no struggle at the end. Her little heart just ran out of beats. We are going to miss her terribly, Max still keeps looking around the house for her. No more tail wiggling, no more Bully-charges to greet us, no more head tilts. But i believe with all my heart that she how loved she was by everyone..
That sick heart wont stop her anymore, She will get to run and play with Grover, Rooney, Malcolm and the other bullies that went before her. Watch out boys... she's a diva.

Oh Tracy, I am so very sorry for your loss...
my heart goes out to you, i was hoping you would enjoy your girl a bit longer. i myself am in similar predicament, Lily has CHF and we are walking on thin ice every day. So I can empathize with you entirely. My heart and soul goes out to you.

I pray my dogs all go in their sleep cuddled up right next to me. No suffering.
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

What a beautiful and sad day... I'm so happy that Sabel got a wonderful last day with her friends, family and fans. But I'm so, so sorry that you have lost this wonderful presence in your life.
