Yes, it is really cold for Texas. It is 28 degrees this morning. I know that is not unusual for NC, but we don't know how to act around here. This morning our snow has turned to ice. Spanky was a brave old boy to crunch through the ice with me and find the one little patch of grass under the tree to pee. Since we do not have a fence I always go out with him on his leash. It was really cold!!!! Hpoe you have a great day!

This morning our snow has turned to ice. It is not nearly as appealing, but Spanky was a brave boy and went out there and did his business this morning anyway! We do not have a fenced yard, so I have to take him out on a leash. Burrrrrr! For an old south Texas girl, 28 degrees is really cold! Hope you have a fun day with your adorable bullies!

it was too warm last night, around 37 degrees. Tonite it will be 28 but no precipitation.

Wish I was in a warm place right now. My hubby and I were just talking today....we want to think about moving even further south than we are in Texas, just to get away from this dad blame cold stuff! I am READY for warm weather!

We are fine. I am taking my mare down to Houston in two weeks to get her bred....I am totally excited about that! It is a huge thing for me...something I have always wanted to do with a really good horse. Now I have that chance and am really looking forward to it all:-)

looks like everyone is doing ok in the snow

This is very unusual for us, but it is certainly beautiful. It is continuing to snow this evening, but we are supposed to warm up tomorrow. Since this is Spanky's first winter with us, I'm not sure if he has experienced snow before. He was a very good sport about going out at noon. Of course, I think he would do a tap dance if he thought he could get a treat :0).

Yep. I noticed that right away. It is snowing again now. I guess I will go out again after BDT (Bulldog Dinner Time!). Have a nice day in Canada!

I am not used to this cold white stuff! Peeing was ok though, because I got my usual treat. I had to get my paws wiped with a towel when I came back inside It is snowing again now, but is supposed to be warmer tomorrow. Have fun!

We are still getting a little snow here too, but it is actually supposed to get up to 50 degrees tomorrow.

We adopted 8 year old Spanky in July, so this is our first winter together.

We lived in College Station while my husband was doing grad work in the '80s. Great town! We are in Georgetown now. Have a great time in the snow!

We are actually in Georgetown, just north of Austin. We are still getting a little snow this afternoon. Before moving here, we lived in south Texas, so I think the snow is really pretty, but will probably be ready to see it gone tomorrow. I think we are supposed to have a hard freeze tonight and then possibly up to 50 degrees tomorrow. A couple of days ago it was in the 70s. So far, Spanky has been good about going out to pee in the cold. For 8 years old, he is really a trooper.

We almost never get snow here. I will post pictures later. Toby was a snowball maniac! He had a great time. So did my two kids.

We are in Weatherford area and got snow overnight. It is all gone now, but the wind has kicked up and it is still pretty chilly out there:-) This IS Texas, right?! Where is the wonderful mild winter they told us about before we moved here!!!
