Oh Gary...and Nikki!! We are having a little snow storm here...

We have a new 13 or so inches on the ground, but the biggest portion of the storm hasn't hit yet. We are looking at more than two feet total by Sunday. At least it isn't coming as fast and furious as the last one. The plows have been pretty good about keeping up with things this time. Of course, that would be because we declared a state emergency yesterday the minute the first snow flake hit the ground, and the National Guard got their plows out and started using them! That helped a lot! I had to dive to the barn this morning and it wasn't too bad, but peole think they can drive regular speeds on the iced up roads, and they are craching all over the place. Duh. Gotta use the brains God gave us!!
Anywho, thanks for asking! Wanna come shovel for a while? I'll lend you my handy dandy snow shovel with the ergonomically designed handle that reduces stress on the back. Right.

Actually, I think haveing a BBQ on teh deck would be awesome, but I'd have to clear about 3.5 feet of snow off first! It is about 20*F here today. Night time is much colder, in the single digits. Not bad, I just whine a lot! I am a desert kindof girl, not a snowstorm kind of girl!

Sorry to sound a little weird but I think that having a White Christmas would be the ULTIMATE !!!
Did you build a snowman yet ?? just how cold is it where you are ?,
We'll probably have a swim sometime today & then a bbq out side for dinner, sure wish I could jump in some of that snow !!!

Amy I have been checking the news....
and saw how much crap is comin yer way! That sux fer sure I hate snow storms! I did see a totally hilarious pic of some guy that lives over there..He was "snowed in" and power was out..So he decided to keep his beer cold by opening the front door and embedded all his cans of beer in his snow door:) I thought what a good idea...Prolly stays colder there anyway..lol..just thought I'd share...Hope your house stays warm and your doors stay clear...keep us posted....
