Our dog trainer told us we should get a Dremel tool to grind Tuffy's nails (and even offered to give us a lesson on how to do it!) but I did an online search and there are tons of models out there. Can someone recommend a good model that works for you?
Thanks!
He said "Dremel" I use 7.2 cordless. EOM
We love our Peticure. It is a dremel style nail tool with
dust collector attachment. Comes in a few different models. We have the rechargeable one and it works great.
i have the dremmel from the nail salon
It's about 100 bucks with a foot control its very quiet too

Yep.
I have the 10.8V while my friend has the 7.2V Multipro. I prefer the hers over mine.

Thanks for following up....
How often do you need to change the batteries on your model? That was the only criticsm in the review for the model you listed. But yours is less expensive and it looks like it's designed specifically for pets!
I think you can safely go with that model. Mine is slower rpm's

I was mistaken about mine being the same as the second person who posted. The model in the link is exactly like mine. The one you are looking at may have higher rpm speed, so it will more easily get the nail bed hot. But it looks like a good model to me.

Is this the right model?
Thanks for the advice! This will be my "husband's" job...at least at first. I'm a little nervous about the whole thing but am glad the dog trainer will teach us how to use it. I found it on Amazon but would you confirm if this is the right model? There was an older version and this newer one so I want to make sure I'm getting the right one...

Thanks!
I have the same model! It comes with extra attachments too!
I love our dremmel. Just take it slow. Tuffy may not like the sound it makes, so just try turning it on near him frequently while you are working on the computer, or reading with him on your lap or near you. Then try touching it to a nail for a second. If you think he is tolerant of it, try a little more. It is worth the gradual introduction to the dremmel.

Thank you!!
I really appreciate the recommendation!!
For the money go with the MultiPro coardless 7.,2V
You can get it at Lowe's for $44 and the size is much better than the larger 10.8V.
