There is an insurance company called Wawanesa that has a bulldog in its commercials and on a huge billboard entering the city (pretty fun when you drive in to see that mug greeting you).

In the commercials, the dog goes "Wa, Wa" (like the name of the company), which is like "woof, woof" in French.

My daughter is 9 years old and watches the kids show iCarly. She noticed that the schools mascot is a bulldog. I would have never noticed it unless she pointed it out. She is always looking for the bully things..lol

South West Okla State University! Their Bulldog Mascot "Duke" is actually, Ch.Newcombs Shineman Curtis. To my knowledge, he is the only college mascot, who is an AKC Champion of Record.

On a side note, in one of our first shows with Winston, Curtis was in the ring with us in 6-9 dog. Winston was abit unruly, and attempted to "coldnose" Curtis' butt. Too funny!
