HeavenSent HERO!

One of our sweet rescues, Rupert, is really a hero! His adoptive mom, who is also a volunteer for HeavenSent, wrote to tell me their story this morning - here's what she said:
"This morning about 3am Rupert jumped out of bed & wanted to go downstairs! Frank took him down because he thought he had to pee, but the next thing we knew Frank was yelling, "Fire!" We got everyone out & called 911. It was a fire in the garage & thanks to Rupert waking us up it did not get into the rest of the house. My son's bedroom is right above the garage & with all the smoke we were very lucky Rupert got up when he did!!!! He is a Heaven Sent Hero!!!!!!!!!!"
Rupert was at the BullyFest on Saturday, with his sister Bobby Jean and his brother Clarence. He truly is a hero and his family is even happier than before, if that's possible, that they adopted this sweet boy!
