Grooming the bully face

I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not. Anyway, When grooming your bullies face with electric clippers what setting do you use as to not hurt them ? is there a certain blade setting that everyone uses??? i just need a little guidance on this so maybe some of you more knowledgable owners can help me out. thanks

Re:

For trimming whiskers I use a regular blade on the clipper. Extra heavy or long whiskers get cut first with scissors, then clippered. I know of some people that use a regular razor to get the muzzle shaved close.
There was a link to a wonderful grooming video - the woman is a pro handler and groomer and gave the seminar at the BCA National several years ago, but I'm not finding it on the site where it was posted.... I'll hunt to see what I can find.

never heard of a clipper on the face of a bulldog...

are you talking about showing this bulldog and the whiskers..maybe.
maybe the med forum is better place to put this
or possibly the show forum
never heard of using clippers on a bulldogs face before..

Hi Kenny

I am not super experienced, but I don't think grooming for Bulldogs includes clipping the face.
I just wipe the folds down with a cloth everyday.

I hope this helps!
