Flying with Dora

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone's holiday season is going great!! I wanted to post this posting because I think some might find it comforting. I recently flew my 9month old Dora from Adminzona to Oregon which was a two hour flight. I was unsure if she was going to be ok with her being in her crate and away from us, but she was great! I made sure she had water and blankets and had always my confirmation where she was going to be prior to boarding and when she was onboard. I know its scary to leave your bullie as if it was luggage, but aslong as you make his or her crate very cumfy and insist of knowing where your bullie is at all times. Everything should be great!! I know there are many out there that are going to dissagree and prefer to drive and I totally understand! I just wanted to let the people that if they HAD to fly with their dog, that its not a totally horrible thing to fly your dog. Again I know everyone has their own preferences and opinions on this matter, so go with whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

Happy new year!!

Alex

I wouldn't suggest that all

experiences are going to as good as yours. I'm glad it all worked out for you BUT flying adult bulldogs is always risky business. It greatly depends on the individual dog, the time of year, the airlines, etc.

IMO all other travel options should be ruled out before deciding on flying your bulldog.
