I wrote a long update yesterday on Cowboy and Betty and I, with pics and then lost the whole thing when I tried to post it, so rather than trash the computer, I just walked away.

Betty's jaw is better. Her antibiotics ended Friday, and the problem hasn't returned, so instead of infection we are suspecting a possible injury. I don't know how a dog that sleeps 23.5 hours on the couch could injure her jaw, but....

The concern is still the anemia we discovered in her CBC. She's making new cells. Has no broken ones that would indicate the IHMA (or whatever that auto-immune disease is). So, a bleed out is the worry. She had her spleen removed 4 months ago and I never tested it. So, now we are thinking if it was hermangiosarcoma, it mets to the liver and she could be bleeding there if it has a tumor/nodules. My head is spinning because this is what we suspected with Raven and I do not need to hear this now... So, ultrasound today.

Cowboy was very sick for the last two weeks and has finally taken a turn for the better. He had an upper respiratory infection or bacteria that was very resistant to antibiotics. So, we hit is hard with zithromax (the antibiotic they give humans with pneumonia) and NeoPolyDex drops. He's finally improving, thank goodness.

And me. First I got the flu a week ago, and then had terrible stomach pains. Well, finally went to the doctor and he suspects I am passing gall stones. I am going for my ultrasound in an hour and then taking Betty to hers... Neither of us could eat anything this morning. At least I don't feel so guilty: "Don't worry honey, I haven't eaten either and when we get done this afternoon we can finally eat!" I can't even drink fluids!

I have some cute videos, but will have to wait for the next time, gotta get going. I still miss Raven terribly and cry every day about something that sets me off. I look forward to things getting better.
