who have troulbe getting prego?

I come from a human side and seeing a fertiltiy specialist. They have been watching my vit D levels and try to keep them higher to help maintain a pregnancy.

I have seen the majority of dogs/bitches with Seasonal Flank Alopecia have been Bitches, which we are told is from lack of Vit D. So im wondering if this is something that has been looked at in the dogs.

Olivia will be bred sometime next week. I'd like to start her on folic acid. What's the dosage? I got a bottle of 800 mcg pills.
