WHEW, the first words out of his mouth are he has good news.

She did great. No pre-anesthetic, just some torbutrol to help with pain, but it doesn't effect heart/lung suppression. They bagged her during surgery (basically help her breathe) and her #'s were all strong while under. She had actually blown out of another spleen tumor in the past and pieces of it were freeranging, lucky she didn't bleed out and die. Then this one was about to go too. He got all of it out, everything left is nice and pink and she woke right up. She's on IV fluids and pain killer and Mom is picking her up at 5:30pm because I'm leaving for work now.

They did a little dental work while under. And she may be pale for a while because her body has to adjust to the absence of the spleen and reroute some blood flow, but the worst should be over.

My little Timex watch Betty, she's such a trooper! I will see her at home tonight around 10pm.
