close to your heart. It is a tough thing to lose such a precious creature. We never call ours dogs anymore, we call them our girl, our boy, or the kids. They mean that much to us. My son, who got us started in bulldogs, says that if he, one of our babies and I were mugged on the street, we would both risk it all to protect the bulldog. We do know your pain, as we recently lost one of our 4 month old babies to GDV. Yes! They do affect your life and every aspect of it. Our family feels blessed to be given the oppurtunity to love and be loved by them.

My wife and I went from Phoenix to Portland to bring a new special bully "Sofie" in to our lives. We have had her only for 5 days and what a beautiful puppy of only 8 weeks she is. Our pain of loss for our beautiful "Peanut" is still there but we feel her presence in our love for this new pup. If you bulldog families know true love for this breed our " Peanut" was a perfect family member. It has been 20 days since she passed away suddenly. We have missed her everyday and have come to the conclusion that she would want our family to love another as we loved her. My wife and I went from Phoenix to Portland to bring a new special bully "Sofie" in to our lives. We have had her only for 5 days and what a beautiful puppy of only 8 weeks she is. Peanut, we are just 2 days from three months since you passed away. We miss you so very much. It is nearly impossible to understand the relationship between an animal and a human. I know we knew you in such a different way, almost human like. I hope your soul is resting in peace everyday. I can't express the feelings we have for you. I struggle looking at your pictures to keep myself together, but know you hear and feel my pain for the loss of our realitionship on earth and will be re united in heaven when you come over the Rainbow Bridge to Heaven.
