Houston Bulldog Vet
Submitted by Kathie and The Gang on April 20, 2010 - 11:15pmI looked at the list on the main page, but can anyone in the Houston area recommend a vet that they have actually had take care of their bullie. I have been using a general vet so far but I am concerned about Slugger tonight and will most likely have to bring him to someone tomorrow. Also, what anesthesia is safe to use. I think they will have to put him under to remove an IDC. I am so worried. He is going to be 6 in Oct. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Don't know about a vet but...
the anesthetic of choice for bulldogs is Isoflurane. We've been through a couple of IDC's and resolved them with preparation H. If they have to lance it or remove it, couldn't they do it with a local anesthetic?
