winston has been havign head tremors.. believe me, I have been up most of the night reading old posts.. the only difference, is that winston is twisting his head (like a drying off shake) and everything else mentions sided to side or up and down..
his shake is not forcefull, and it is continuous for many minutes ay a time.. a teaspoon of syrop and a couple cookies seemed to do the trick, but only for a couple of hours.
is there anything that i should be looking for? could it be anything different?
thanks for your help.

head tremors
I have a Boston Terrier who was having head tremors and the vet said it was the result of some medication he was on. It was a little frightening at the time, but he didn't seem to be in any pain, and eventually they stopped.

no real advice here but my Spike
had fly biting seizures when he was about 10 mos old, he would look into the air as if a fly was buzzing his head and jump and snap as if trying to catch it. i spoke to a bulldogs specialist and neurologist who said seizures. Well, i made the appointment to drive him there about two hours away, but in the meatime before his apppointment I changed his food, along with my four other bulldogs and three chinese shar-pei who were not having any symptoms like his, the food wasn't really working for any of them. It was wolfking. Well, as soon as I changed this food to california Natural herring and sweet potato, the fly biting "siezures" stopped and he hasn't done this for about a year now. I want to add that he would also stare almost like a trance or somthing before these started within minutes. I could always call his name and he would respond. the neurologist said that if i could call him and get his attention, it maybe wasn't a seizure, because in a seizure you can get them to respond to you

he is only turning about 1/8th each way..
almost like a wobble.. but i will clean his ears too..
peanut butter or syrop does make it go away for a few hours...
right now.. he is running around chasing a ball like an idiot (read.. normal) so i am not that worried..
he ate a lot for breakfast too.

Wish I could help...
I like Penny's suggestions of the ears. Maybe something is going on there...

No advice here...
I know Cathy & Zimmer have experience with this... but I do see you've read some old posts, so maybe you've seen that already.
Good luck to Winston!

Steve, I had to change foods when this happened with Sophia
That was the trick, and she was fine after I switched off TOTW to Natural Balance. Her head shakes went away. I did the sugar on a spoon, karo syrup, etc, and it only lasted for so long before the head shakes were back. After teh food change she hasn't had another shake.
