Growing pains

We have just gotten our Bulldog Bella. I wanted to know about their growth? She seems to have problems with her hips and elbows. Could she grow out of it? She is just a puppy and we have to try and give her a normal and HAPPY life at the least. She was born 6-29-09. So as you can see she is just a pup yet? Any help from anyone would be greatly helpful.

Agree...need check-up with a bulldog-experienced vet

and if you need help locating one, first check the Home Page of this website, near the bottom of the page, where vets are listed by regular contributors here who actually USE these docs! If there isn't one listed near you, please let us know where you are and perhaps we can help. Bulldogs have some unique construction and understanding them, and how your own dog measures up against 'the norm' for a bully her own age is important. happy.gif

She's a little young for growing pains

Growing pains or panosteosis usually starts at around 5-6 months of age. My advice is to find a good bulldog Vet and take her in for a check up. Also, take her off puppy food and put her on a good all stages food that is about 25% protein.
