I switched The bullies to NB Salmon and sweet potato. Bentley was developing a reaction to the Blue Buffalo she was on (guess who seems to have developed an allergy to Barley!!!).
She's doing WONDERFUL!!!!! NO HIVES *AT ALL!!!!!* Both bullies coats are beyond belief shiny and they don't have that dog smell stink about them if I don't wash them every other week.
I can't rave enough about this food!!!
(Gotta add a change from the original-post..... The coat, lack of hives, etc are not the only changes! Bentley is a walking ear infection! NOT ANYMORE!!!
Maddox's nearly monthly tail pocket infection cleared up within few days! (gotta add though- while not back in full force the beginning symptoms are showing themselves. We're maintaining right now. His coat looks AMAZING though!!!!!!!!!!)
Problem is they both have the most INCREDIBLE gas on this stuff!!! There is no smell with the gas but the noise will wake the dead from their sleep!
Due to some stress I've been under lately (getting this magazine launched), sleeping hasn't been something I've really been able to do lately. Nightmares, cats howling during the middle of the night, dog tags jingling and farts are really taking their toll on me!!!
Well- yesterday I woke up about 5am when I heard Bentley going down the stairs (everything wakes me up right now). I got up to take her out and saw a couple dingle berries on the floor inside the house. She took off to go #2 like a bat out of Hades!
Bentley has also been VERY itchy the past couple days (we've had a cold front though, I blamed it on that).
Well... this morning the kids didn't have school so I had to go wake Bentley up. When I went in DD's room to get her, I noticed a few more Dingle berries near her rear (like 4! Propelled out by the gas??).
She also has chewed a couple spots on her butt raw and one spot down further on her back leg! (cant think of the nice term for hiney hole). She doesn't want to go poo either today. (heck- I wouldn't either if my rear was that red!!!) She did go once but I had to nearly force her into the yard.
I've started her on meds and rubbed Bacterium on her rear (she's in heat so this was rather uncomfortable for me to say the least!). Going to the vet tomorrow if she doesn't seem better. I'm going to soak her in the tub this evening (doggie spa anyone) and work on her anal glands... when I tried to express them earlier though they seemed empty (maybe the heat will help?) She is passing solid stool though.
No fleas, they don't spray for the blood suckers here though so that is something I need to consider... this is their first time in an area where we really have mosquitoes. No fever but her bum is pretty raw. (I'll post a pic if you guys really want to see it).
Thanks guys!

Lola was on that food and has loose stools
It worked well in the beginning but then she started to tear up and her stools were loose.. Starting to see a little bit of a trend with this food.. Not sure ifs its because sweet potato is the main ingredient and not salmon..

It happened again last night...
Woke this morning to find 7-8 little dingle berries on the floor near where she slept.
I gave her pumpkin yesterday thinking she was backed up or something... it had no effect on her stool.
I usually take her out right before bed (around 10-11) and again as soon as we wake up (around 6).
Her back legs don't seem as raw today and her bum isn't red. Waking up to the little mine field isn't to pleasant though.
I'm going to call the vet today.
Thanks!
